The amount of weight someone loses through diet and exercise really depends on their net calorie deficit ie. how many more calories they use up in the day compared to what they consume. This isn’t always the healthiest way to think about things though. Sure, you could lose a large amount of weight quite quickly but unless what you are doing is sustainable, you’re likely to regain that weight and more once you stop. Instead of focusing on weight loss as the goal, focus on implementing healthy behaviours such as eating fruit and veg every day, doing some physical activity, managing your stress etc. as long term, these will have more of an impact on your health than your weight.
